What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Technician position at Grand Island Casino Resort?
Maintain and repair all electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Slot Technicians are also responsible for all installs, moves, removes, and modifications of all related stands, signage and machines. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Gaming Operation's policies and procedures, Internal Standard Operating Procedures, and company objectives.
Essential
Adjusts and repairs machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
Ensures an adequate number of surplus monitors and parts are in inventory.
Tests, bench-repairs and evaluates slot machine monitors.
Maintains other types of casino electronic devices.
Conducts general maintenance and/or service on all machines and equipment.
Examines defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions.
Conducts daily inspections of machines and equipment.
Participates in the programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Attends All Company Required Training.
Complies with all Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
Adheres to all safety guidelines.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Must be able to read, write, speak and/or interpret simple sentences in English.
Must be able to read and understand technical manuals.
