What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant PEIMS Coordinator position at Granbury?

Contract days: 217
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Maintain accurate attendance records for the District. Under close supervision, perform data entry including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing.
Proficient in keyboarding, 10 key numerical data entry and file maintenance.
Ability to meet established deadlines
Experience:
Three years data campus level entry experience preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Records and Reports
- Assist PEIMS coordinator in maintaining student and staff data necessary for submissions to TEA.
- Assist PEIMS coordinator in verifying campus data according to prescribed procedures.
- Assist campus staff with questions regarding student attendance, scheduling and grading.
- Assist PEIMS coordinator in compiling, maintaining and distributing all reports, records and other documents as required following established procedures.
Other
- Assist in Technology office as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
