GPD is currently seeking a Traffic Count / Data Collection Technician for our Kentucky Market. Work will be based out of the Lexington, Kentucky area. This person will travel to sites where traffic studies information must be collected for municipal designs.

Role Qualifications
- Prior Traffic Data Collection Deployment Experience.
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience working with Collected Traffic Data, processing and downloading data.
- Experience reviewing and validating collected data.
- Experience breaking down and maintaining traffic data collection equipment.
- Experience in supporting engineers in design and documentation for project work.
- Experience developing data collection scopes and fees preferred.
- AutoCAD or Microstation experience is a plus.
- Bluebeam and MS Office products experience preferred.
- Ability to work within a team environment working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines through all phases of design.
- Must be organized and possess strong communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Field data collector deployment and retrieval
- Downloading and processing data
- Data / File management
- Equipment maintenance / management
- Client interaction for scope and fee development
- Some travel and field work to collect data and develop solutions.
- Local Travel will be required. Overnight travel within the region is to be expected from time to time.
- Supporting projects with technical design and documentation using Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD or MicroStation Open Roads.
