GPD is currently seeking a Civil Designer in our Akron, OH office location to provide site designs of Federal focused programs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• Associate’s degree in Civil Tech Engineering, or Engineering Design is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Site Development design.
• 3 years’ experience with Site planning, engineering, and plan coordination.
• Familiar with and worked in Civil 3-D and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and stay organized while working on multiple projects.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
  
  

Day-to-day Job Responsibilities

• Site planning and coordination.
• Grading and storm water management design.
• Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
• Background coordination with our internal team of surveyors, environmental specialists, and geotechnical crew.
