Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Erection Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial structural steel projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, field knowledge, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural steel erection projects from kickoff through closeout
- Coordinate with field superintendents, fabricators, subcontractors, and general contractors
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and production timelines
- Review drawings, contracts, and project specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Attend project meetings and maintain communication with clients and project stakeholders
- Track change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
- Support field operations to ensure successful project execution
- 5 years of structural steel construction experience
- Previous project management experience in structural steel erection preferred
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software

Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
