This role is ideal for a driven construction leader who understands the unique requirements, compliance standards, and logistics involved in federal work.
What You'll Do
- Manage all phases of federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, contracting officers, and on-site inspectors
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performance
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, safety, and quality standards
- Drive risk management, change order management, and reporting processes
- Lead and mentor project teams to deliver on time and on budget
- 7 years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
- Proven experience delivering federal/government projects (DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of federal contracting requirements and documentation
- Ability to obtain or maintain federal security clearance (preferred)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
