Responsibilities
- Design and develop new heavy equipment products and system components for mining, waste management, wood processing, oil & gas, metal, and many other industries.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical design, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation to create robust, manufacturable solutions.
- Support prototyping, testing, and iterative development of new technologies.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams to ensure performance and reliability.
- Translate innovative ideas into detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in equipment design or related industry preferred.
- Proficient in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Strong understanding of hydraulic circuits, sensors, control systems, and structural design.
- Passion for hands-on engineering, innovation, and problem-solving.
