Key Responsibilities
- Support civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including risk management, bidding, and final closeout.
- Design site layouts, grading plans, utility systems, stormwater management, and erosion control measures using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare detailed design documents, engineering calculations, technical reports, and permit applications.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
- Assist with permitting processes at local, state, and federal levels.
- Support construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, conducting site inspections, and preparing as-built drawings.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably with local project exposure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Strong technical skills in stormwater design, grading, and utility layout.
- Active EIT or PE license required.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
