Osiris 9 Consulting is a rapidly growing transportation engineering and planning firm delivering Project Development & Environment (PD&E), transportation planning, traffic engineering, and roadway design services across Florida. We’re seeking a self-motivated Civil Engineer who’s excited to jump into meaningful, high-impact projects—and help communities move smarter and safer.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate with an interest in roadway design and/or transportation engineering, who is looking to build a strong foundation while working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful public-sector projects.

What you’ll do (day-to-day impact)
As part of our transportation team, you will support FDOT and other public-sector projects by:
- Assisting with conceptual roadway layouts and typical sections using MicroStation and related design tools
- Supporting the development of conceptual intersections and interchanges
- Preparing traffic operations, capacity, and safety analyses for roadways and intersections
- Using GIS tools to identify and quantify environmental, social, and physical impacts
- Assisting with project schedules, technical documentation, and data collection
- Reviewing FDOT manuals, standards, and guidelines to support project development
- Conducting technical research and analysis under the guidance of experienced engineers
- Developing reports, exhibits, graphics, and presentations to support project findings
- Assisting with coordination and communication with internal teams, public agencies, and stakeholders
- Participating in meetings and presentations with clients and the public, as appropriate

What we’re looking for
· Engineering Intern (EI) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
· Interest or coursework related to transportation engineering or planning
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
· Ability to manage tasks professionally and meet deadlines
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Willingness to learn and cross-train across transportation disciplines
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
