Senior Concrete Estimator Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience estimating commercial concrete, civil, or sitework projects
• Strong grasp of takeoffs, pricing, and construction documents
• Track record of managing multiple bids and deadlines with accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Proven ability to work closely with field teams and leadership
• Demonstrated ownership and follow-through on commitments
  
  

Senior Concrete Estimator Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete and sitework projects
• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare takeoffs and pricing
• Engage directly with project managers, field teams, and leadership to define project scope and strategy
• Handle multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining high standards
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients throughout the bidding process
• Participate in bid reviews, scope leveling, and value engineering discussions
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in project scopes
• Support seamless project handoff to operations post-award
