Project Manager – Concrete Construction Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in commercial concrete construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means, and methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex construction challenges
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed
  
  

Project Manager – Concrete Construction Preferred Background & Skills

• OSHA Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with AutoCAD or Tekla
  
  

Project Manager – Concrete Construction Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Create and update project budgets, schedules, and critical path plans
• Review project labor costs with Superintendents to ensure budget compliance
• Oversee productivity, cost control, quality, and safety standards
• Coordinate operations related to formwork, logistics, schedules, and materials
• Communicate regularly with clients to align on plans, schedules, and expectations
• Prepare and process change orders, proposals, RFPs, and project documentation
• Track project progress and performance, reporting insights to executive leadership
• Attend client and internal meetings, assisting in project requirement planning
• Ensure completion of all required closeout documents and maintain contract records
