Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) [or EIT] with a strong background in commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects. Skilled in delivering full-cycle civil engineering solutions, from feasibility studies and site design through permitting, bidding, and construction support. Adept at balancing technical design with project management responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Technical Expertise & Project Experience
- Site/Civil Design: Paving, grading, drainage, stormwater management, water/wastewater systems, and erosion/sediment control.
- Project Deliverables: Preparation and review of construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Extensive experience with permitting processes, zoning regulations, and coordination with municipalities and reviewing agencies.
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hydrology & Hydraulics: Stormwater modeling, detention/retention pond design, and hydraulic calculations for system capacity.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Actively engaged in meetings with clients, contractors, and government agencies to maintain clear communication and resolve issues quickly.
- Mentorship: Guide and review the work of junior engineers and EITs, ensuring technical accuracy and professional development.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Skilled in identifying design efficiencies to improve cost-effectiveness and constructability.
- Proven record of fostering positive client relationships and ensuring successful project approvals.
- Collaborative team player who contributes both technical expertise and leadership support.
