The Communications & Operations Coordinator supports the daily functions of Goodwin Brain Health by managing administrative operations and assisting with internal and external communication initiatives. This position works closely with the department director and team to ensure efficient coordination of projects, communications, and workflows. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clear and effective communication across teams.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Business hours, with occasional weekend or evening marketing/outreach events

Job Duties
- Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management for Goodwin Brain Health.
- Maintain and track department inventory, ordering supplies as needed in coordination with Supply Chain.
- Assist with basic financial tracking, such as submitting invoices, managing expense reports, and monitoring budgets in collaboration with leadership.
- Organize and maintain department records, files, and databases to support reporting and program efficiency.
- Assist with meeting coordination, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in operational processes.
- Assist with internal and external communication efforts, including newsletters, program updates, and email correspondence.
- Help maintain program-related social media, website content, and marketing materials.
- Support event coordination, workshops, and community outreach efforts to promote Goodwin Brain Health.
- Manage incoming inquiries, providing clear information and support to senior living communities and partners.
- Ensure branding and messaging consistency across various platforms and materials.
- At least 5 years of experience in administrative coordination, operations, or communications is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) is required. Experience with content creation and digital platforms such as Canva, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating with a team.
- Must possess ability to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, staff, family members and the public.
