G&S Architectural Products is seeking a Business Development Representative with a design background interested in applying their experience in a client-focused role. This position allows you to stay closely connected to the design and construction community while working across multiple projects, firms, and markets simultaneously

- From Single Projects to Regional Impact Instead of focusing on one project at a time, you will influence dozens of projects across the region, working with architects, designers, and contractors to get G&S products specified.
- Design Business Development Leverage your design knowledge in a client-facing role that blends technical understanding with relationship building and sales strategy.
- Product Development Involvement Your insights from the field will directly contribute to new product development and innovation, helping shape what we bring to market.
- Marketing Collaboration Work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop new and creative ways to engage the design and construction community, including presentations, CEUs, and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and contractors
- Promote and position G&S products to be specified on commercial construction projects
- Conduct presentations, product education sessions, and CEU programs
- Identify and track project opportunities across the region
- Collaborate with internal sales teams during project bidding phases
- Provide feedback and insights to support product development initiatives
- Partner with Marketing to enhance brand presence and outreach strategies
Ideal Candidate Background
- Experience in architecture, interior design, or commercial construction
- Strong interest in transitioning into a business development / client-facing role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand and discuss technical product applications
- Self-motivated with a proactive, positive approach
