Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) contractor to provide behavioral therapy services within a clinical and or home setting. The ideal candidate will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based interventions, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor personalized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and progress.
- Collect, analyze, and document data accurately to inform treatment adjustments and measure effectiveness.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Manage intake processes for new clients, including initial assessments and service planning.
- Ensure patient care standards are upheld through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of intervention strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health, special education, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for behavioral interventions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to perform patient assessment and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families.
