Responsibilities
- Achieve RBT first
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to enhance their independence and quality of life.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
- Provide support in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote effective behavior management strategies.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Skills
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts and practices.
- Ability to effectively manage behaviors using evidence-based strategies.
- Experience in special education settings is preferred.
- Competence in data collection methods for monitoring client progress.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
