About the Role
As the HVAC Master Trainer, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of Goettl’s company-wide HVAC training initiatives. You'll serve as the primary technical resource for our Goettl Academy and spearhead a progressive development strategy for both new hires and existing staff. Your mission is to enhance employee skills, improve customer satisfaction, and support a positive employee experience. This role is central to sustaining our competitive edge by "Goettlizing" our HVAC teams with best-in-class training, mentorship, and coaching. You’ll also lead and coordinate branch-level trainers to deliver consistent, high-impact training across all locations.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough assessments of HVAC team skill levels and training needs using a variety of evaluation tools
- Design, develop, and deploy HVAC technical training modules covering system knowledge, sales, software tools, Goettl-specific procedures, and professional appearance
- Implement mentorship programs and coaching sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Build employee learning paths for career advancement within Goettl
- Remain up to date on industry trends, technologies, building codes, and safety regulations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and employee performance post-training
- Create evaluation metrics and ensure ongoing competency assessments at the branch level
- Support, guide, and collaborate with branch trainers to ensure consistent program delivery
- Travel to various branch locations to conduct in-person trainings and evaluations as needed (minimum of 50% travel)
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- A committed and progressive work history.
- Experience in professional trades is strongly preferred
- 3 years in a training leadership role (e.g., Training Director/Manager, Trade School Instructor)
- In-depth knowledge of both traditional and modern adult learning methodologies
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel and work across branches as needed
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen upon offer
- Clean motor vehicle record with an active driver’s license
