This per diem role offers flexible scheduling with shifts available based on school coverage needs in Camarillo, California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom setting
• Provide individualized 1:1 assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• High school diploma or GED minimum
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Up-to-date TB test per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to startPreferred Experience:
• Prior work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification and familiarity with G-Tube or Trach care is a plus
• Dependable, patient, and a team-oriented attitude
