Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential or Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
- Ability to manage and organize caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to adapt services to meet diverse student needs.
- The district serves students across all grade levels, K-12.
- Caseload preferences will be considered and accommodated whenever possible.
