We have three locations in Sea Isle, Somers Point, and Wildwood.

About the Role:

As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences that delight our guests and elevate our culinary offerings. Your expertise in food preparation and menu development will play a crucial role in crafting innovative dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. You will lead a team of kitchen staff, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining a high level of quality and presentation. Collaboration with front-of-house staff will be essential to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Ultimately, your leadership and culinary skills will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our establishment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in menu planning and development for diverse culinary styles.
• Previous leadership experience in a kitchen setting.
• Certifications in food safety management.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and efficiency.
• Collaborate with management to manage food costs and inventory effectively.

Skills:

The required skills in food preparation and menu development will be utilized daily as you create and refine dishes that meet the high standards of our establishment. Your experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef will guide your leadership style, allowing you to effectively manage and inspire your kitchen team. Knowledge of food safety will be critical in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Fine dining experience will enhance your ability to create visually stunning presentations that elevate the guest experience. Additionally, your ability to adapt recipes and innovate will keep our menu fresh and exciting, attracting a diverse clientele.
