Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Sales Manager to lead our store operations and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of sales strategies, inventory control, and customer service. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. The Retail Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing merchandising plans, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team environment to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets
Ensure a superior customer experience by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate wireless solutions
Manage daily store operations, including inventory, merchandising, and POS transactions
Recruit, train, and retain talented team members
Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and customer base
Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable feedback to the team
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and inventory standards
Represent the store in community outreach and local business development initiatives
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail environments with supervising or assistant manager roles preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Proficiency in retail sales systems such as POS platforms; experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, customer service excellence, merchandising, and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Organizational skills complemented by proficiency in bookkeeping and administrative tasks related to store operations.
