Wireless Sales Representative duties:
Working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up to date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their wireless needs and recommend suitable products and plans
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various wireless devices and accessories
- Assist customers with POS transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges using cash handling procedures
- Upsell additional products and services to maximize customer value and store sales goals
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Perform cashier duties with accuracy while maintaining excellent phone etiquette during customer interactions
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist in supervising store operations when needed, including supervising staff or training new team members
Requirements
- Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially in wireless or electronics sectors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures required
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles necessary for daily operations
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, product demos, and customer service excellence
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately in retail settings such as grocery stores or electronics retail outlets
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
