Summary
This position is responsible for providing safe and effective oversight of 30 full-time/temporary team members that perform daily VPC In and Out functions, and will report all issues to the VPC supervisor and manager. In addition, this position will ensure that team members are working in a safe and productive manner to achieve daily production goals. Must be available for overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities
Primary
- Provide oversight to 30 team members to meet daily production goal
- Ensure aged units are staged inside to be processed in FIFO order.
- Monitor and communicate the production goal to team members daily.
- Identify production paperwork and direct team to house vehicles in specific locations.
- Communicate with other departments regarding the completion of priority vehicles.
- Communicate with parts department as necessary
- Delegate task to team members
- Perform various job functions of the department when needed.
- Conduct audits periodically to ensure proper vehicle handling procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that work area is clean and that all personal items are removed by the end of each shift.
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and productive manner.
- Report any team member who does not adhere to company safety policies or procedures.
- Communicate processor issues found by QC team members with your supervisor immediately
- Responsible for training new employees.
- Ensure that team members follow all safety and compliance standards
- Make sound decisions in preventing hazards to yourself and or co-worker.
- Report all hazards, injuries and near misses to your immediate supervisor.
- Report all team member issues or concerns immediately to supervisor
- Report any team member that demonstrates poor work performance and tardiness to assigned work area, negative attitude, inappropriate behavior, dress code violations, horse playing, harassment or unwillingness to assist others.
- Enforce all vehicle handling procedures and PPE guidelines.
- Ensure that equipment is being utilized correctly and functioning properly.
- Conduct inspection on company vehicles and equipment before operating and fill out inspection sheet daily.
- Send end of day report to Supervisor and Manager when required.
- Conduct end of shift procedure.

Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to read, write and count
- Basic user experience in Microsoft Office required
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 3 years supervisory experience Required
- Pre-Delivery Inspector experience Preferred
- Valid Driver's License Required
Physical Requirements
- Constantly use right and left foot controls
- Constant use of right and left hands for simple and firm grasping
- Constant use of right and left hands for fine manipulation
- Sit, stand walk 5 hours per day
- Climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, squat 1-3 hours per day
