The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and optimize a large-scale enterprise network supporting over 350 locations. This position plays a key role in maintaining network reliability, scalability, and security across a complex multi-cloud environment. The engineer will manage MPLS, DIA, P2P circuits, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and implement advanced routing, VPN, and automation solutions that ensure high performance and visibility throughout the network ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain a scalable, secure enterprise network across 350 sites.
- Design and manage MPLS, DIA, P2P, Cloud Connects, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute connectivity.
- Configure and support IPSec VPN tunnels for secure communication and remote access.
- Implement advanced routing with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, static routes, ACLs, and route maps.
- Administer Cisco routers (ISR, ASR) and switches (Catalyst, Nexus).
- Oversee enterprise wireless networks using Cisco WLCs and Access Points.
- Manage Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) for high-availability name services.
- Maintain Cisco Client (802.1X, NAC) for access control and authentication.
- Drive network automation, proactive monitoring, and incident response using SNMP-based tools and ExtraHop analytics.
- Develop and enforce security and segmentation policies to maintain compliance and resiliency.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, design, and operations.
- Expertise in MPLS, DIA, P2P, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute.
- Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and VPN technologies.
- Extensive experience with Cisco routers/switches and enterprise wireless infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency with SNMP-based monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, ThousandEyes, Cisco DNA Center).
- Hands-on experience with ExtraHop for traffic analytics and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Infoblox DDI and Cisco NAC/802.1X authentication systems.
- Network automation via Python, Ansible, or API-based frameworks.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and Zero Trust implementations.
