- Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for technical equipment, software, and engineered products.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for specialized or custom-engineered components.
- Review purchase order claims, ensuring policy compliance and resolving supplier defects or delivery issues.
- Apply deep expertise in procurement and contract management, including private telecommunications and wireless network acquisitions.
- Drive cost savings strategies and implement category management best practices.
- Identify and execute purchasing opportunities through internal stakeholder collaboration and external market research.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and industry trends to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Manage multiple short to mid-term projects with responsibility for costs, methods, and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote process efficiencies.
- Build strong relationships with business partners, clients, and suppliers across the organization.
- Safeguard all corporate physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets in accordance with company policy.
- 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or contract management.
- Proven experience with RFX processes and complex contract negotiations.
- Strong background in technical purchasing, particularly in telecommunications and wireless/cellular networks.
- Experience managing private telecommunications systems (internal operations vs. public wireless services).
- Bachelor’s degree required; candidates without a degree must have 10 years of relevant work experience.
