- Position Type: Contract

- Pay Rate: $65-$75/hr
- Conduct needs assessments and front-end analyses (FEA) to identify training requirements and recommend effective learning solutions for apprenticeship programs.
- Collaborate with Senior Learning Strategists and Instructional Designers to determine learning strategies, create curriculum maps, and define assessment methods.
- Review off-the-shelf courses with SMEs for inclusion in technician curriculum pathways.
- Guide the appropriate use of learning technologies and tools; recommend solutions to stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards; perform QA reviews.
- Estimate project costs and create schedules in partnership with the strategy and instructional design teams.
- Manage project execution, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Facilitate key project meetings, including Kick-offs, Betas, Train-the-Trainers, and Pilots.
- Track project milestones and provide ongoing updates to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement; gather and analyze metrics to inform continuous improvement strategies.
- Archive course materials and perform project close-out activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of instructional design experience, including 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Experience designing multi-year technical training programs.
- Strong understanding of instructional design for classroom and technical/trades environments.
- Proven ability to manage small to mid-sized projects.
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Articulate Storyline, LMS tools, video production, and web design platforms.
- Experience developing skilled-trades apprenticeship programs.
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
- Experience within the utility industry, trades, or similar environment.
- Familiarity with Questionmark, Author-It, MS Teams, and virtual learning platforms.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for workflow efficiency.
