The PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) Specialist will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to enhance the quality and reliability of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environments, focusing on Financial Aid (FA) and Student Records (SR) modules. The ideal candidate has deep experience in PTF scripting, regression automation, and integration of testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines, as well as a strong understanding of Campus Solutions business processes.Key Responsibilities:
- PTF Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated PTF scripts for key Financial Aid and Student Records processes.
- Regression Testing: Execute automated regression cycles post-update to ensure stability and data accuracy.
- Performance Testing: Build and execute LoadNinja scripts to assess system performance under peak load scenarios.
- Training: Train QA and functional team members on PTF usage, maintenance, and automation best practices.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and verify defects in ServiceNow or Client ALM.
- Environment Management: Validate PTF configurations, test data, and scripts across environments.
- DevOps Integration: Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Reporting: Generate concise test execution summaries, performance metrics, and testing dashboards.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth testing cycles.
- PeopleSoft Test Framework Expertise: Proven hands-on experience creating and maintaining PTF scripts using variables, reusable components, and batch automation.
- Campus Solutions Knowledge: Deep understanding of Financial Aid and Student Records modules.
- Testing Experience: 3-5 years of experience in functional and regression testing of PeopleSoft applications.
- Tools & Technology: Proficiency in SQL, PeopleSoft Query, and Client ALM; familiarity with Phire or Change Assistant preferred.
- Training & Mentoring: Ability to train, coach, and upskill QA and functional peers.
- DevOps Awareness: Understanding of CI/CD workflows and automated test integration.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (FA and SR modules).
- Exposure to LoadNinja, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with higher education processes and systems.
