Job Type: W2 Only (No C2C / No 1099)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong backend engineering experience and a solid track record of building scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This is a hands-on role—expect real development work, not just oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Work on RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java (8/11/17)
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and web services
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Kafka or messaging systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have but expected at senior level)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite with teams

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be authorized to work on W2 (No C2C / No third-party)
• Must be able to work onsite in North Carolina
• No remote or hybrid option—this is strictly onsite
