This role will assist infusion patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. HUC duties include meeting the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical team. Following hospital and regulatory requirements, this role will prepare, compile and maintain records in the department as well as assist in scheduling patient appointments in our EMR system, ordering supplies and preparing necessary paperwork.

Qualifications
- Possess current certification as a Nursing Assistant, Registered and be listed on the Minnesota Board of Nursing - Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Strong attention to detail required with ability to multi-task and re-prioritize tasks based on patient needs while maintaining a superior level of customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to express empathy as well as adhere to strict patient confidentiality.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows-based computer systems, fax and multiple line phone systems.
- Previous electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred; Excellian knowledge a plus!
- Candidate must be able to meet facility required physical job requirements and possess current BLS/CPR certification.
- Is willing to float to the Med/Surg unit as required.
