NOTICE OF VACANCY
PO SITION: Paraeducator, Classroom – Part-Time (Union Position)
Naubuc Elementary School
WAGES: $20.17 per hour
SCHEDULE: 10-Month Position
19 Hours per week, Monday - Friday
DUTIES: Assists teaching staff by providing support to students, working one
on one and within small groups. Under the direction of the teacher,
performs classroom duties associated with the education and
behavioral management of students. Monitors students during
recess and lunch periods. Performs related work as required or as
assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to engage students, work well in small groups and follow
teacher instructions. Good communication skills. Strong
interpersonal skills; ability to relate easily and work well with students
and staff.
REQUIREMENTS: Two years of College (60 Credits) or the equivalent Para Pro
Certification.
