Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall excellence of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and experience in facilities management to lead maintenance teams effectively. You will coordinate repairs, oversee vendor relationships, and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize property value and tenant satisfaction. Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, safety, security, and tenant relations
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors, ensuring timely completion of repairs and projects
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- Oversee electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Read and interpret schematics for mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Coordinate with project management teams for renovations or upgrades involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS tools and prepare reports on property conditions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and industrial maintenance procedures
- Manage facilities management tasks such as HVAC system servicing, electrical troubleshooting, low voltage wiring projects, and mechanical repairs
Experience
- Proven management experience in facilities management or property oversight with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance environments
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical and mechanical systems; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of CMMS platforms for scheduling maintenance tasks and tracking work orders
- Background in HVAC systems maintenance, electrical troubleshooting (including high voltage), and industrial machinery repair
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with vendors, contractors, tenants, and team members effectively
- Project management experience related to facility upgrades or renovations within manufacturing or industrial settings
