Summary
This position plays a supportive role to the manager to help cover all shifts and 7 days of the week.

- Create schedule for Pre-trim Supervisors.
- Create the workplan and communicate adjustments to the team.
- Help hold supervisors accountable for keeping to the workplan.
- Schedule with distribution for availability of trucks for delivery of product and materials.
- Report on quality issues to the Pre-trim Manager.
- Update SOPs, get approval from Pre-trim Manager.
- Hold team accountable to collect lab samples properly.
- Assist the manager to improve the efficiency of processes, ergonomics, overall performance, and quality of product.
- Pay close attention to warehouse climate and report issues to the Logistics Manager and Trimming manager.
- Approval of schedules for Leads.
- Hold team accountable on quality specs for every job in the department.
- Cover for supervisors and manager, as needed.
- Communicate information from one shift to the other.
- Maintain accuracy of data and report any issues to the Pre-trim Manager.
- Give the Pre-trim Manager an update on the quality of product and offer a heads-up for any lower quality product.
- Keep a safe work environment to avoid injuries to employees. Report any issues to the Safety Officer.
- Follow up with the maintenance team to resolve any issues with equipment.
- Report any issues with a Supervisor to the Pre-trim Manager.
- Rotate with other managers for weekend coverage.
- Communicate with other managers when they cover your area
- Help the manager drive the department for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Prior cannabis or management experience, mandatory.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs required.
- HS graduate or college and or university education preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Bilingual preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
- Must be able to write and communicate effectively with the entire team.
