What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Trim Assistant Manager position at GH GROUP INC?

1. Create schedule for Pre-trim Supervisors.
2. Create the workplan and communicate adjustments to the team.
3. Help hold supervisors accountable for keeping to the workplan.
4. Schedule with distribution for availability of trucks for delivery of product and materials.
5. Report on quality issues to the Pre-trim Manager.
6. Update SOPs, get approval from Pre-trim Manager.
7. Hold team accountable to collect lab samples properly.
8. Assist the manager to improve the efficiency of processes, ergonomics, overall performance, and quality of product.
9. Pay close attention to warehouse climate and report issues to the Logistics Manager and Trimming manager.
10. Approval of schedules for Leads.
11. Hold team accountable on quality specs for every job in the department.
12. Cover for supervisors and manager, as needed.
13. Communicate information from one shift to the other.
14. Maintain accuracy of data and report any issues to the Pre-trim Manager.
15. Give the Pre-trim Manager an update on the quality of product and offer a heads-up for any lower quality product.
16. Keep a safe work environment to avoid injuries to employees. Report any issues to the Safety Officer.
17. Follow up with the maintenance team to resolve any issues with equipment.
18. Report any issues with a Supervisor to the Pre-trim Manager.
19. Rotate with other managers for weekend coverage.
20. Communicate with other managers when they cover your area
21. Help the manager drive the department for continuous improvement.
Must be flexible to cover two shifts on a rotation, between day and night, and work weekends.
