While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is to have the ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell; reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/or ladder. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

- Work with ladders, scaffolding and hydraulic lifts
- Work on blackout and ventilation and irrigation systems
- Required to comply with Safety Programs
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Landscaping
- PVC plumbing above and below grade
- General electrical work; conduit installation, pulling wire
- Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed
- Use required PPE per OSHA regulations
- Help with various maintenance-related tasks like cleaning filters, greasing, and small inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Minimum 2 years of physical work experience
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Equipment experience a plus
- Maintenance experience a plus
- Must be 21 years old
- Flexible availability for work hours
- General mechanical knowledge
- May work independently, as part of a team, or as an assistant to a skilled trades person
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week. Willingness to work weekends and holidays if necessary.

- Ability to work in conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures, with a fair amount of moisture present
- May be required to travel between the farm sites and/or office on occasion.
