We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to support our pharmaceutical and manufacturing operations. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with injectable products and a strong understanding of GMP standards, SOPs, and FDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform hands-on laboratory or production testing for product analysis and verification.
- Review and maintain documentation including SOPs, batch records, and investigations.
- Assist in product release decisions based on test results and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or deviations, and support corrective action processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, QA, and regulatory to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in injectable product quality control or related pharmaceutical testing.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with raw materials, in-process, and finished product testing.
- Experience with documentation, batch record review, deviations, OOS/OOT investigations, and product release.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
