We are seeking a detail oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to support warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, verifying incoming and outgoing products, and ensuring proper documentation and product identification. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and forklift operation, along with strong computer and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
- Receive, verify, and document incoming materials and products.
- Assist with shipping activities, including product verification and shipment documentation.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled, tagged, and identified.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Prepare reports regarding inventory accuracy, shortages, damages, and adjustments.
- Coordinate with warehouse, quality, production, and customer service teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Assist with staging products for shipping, transfers, and production requirements.
- Inspect damaged products, document findings, and assist with resolution processes.
- Support warehouse operations in both office and cold-storage/freezer environments.
- Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety, GMP, quality, and food safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or logistics.
- Forklift experience required.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to accurately count, track, and reconcile inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar inventory management software.
- Experience working in food manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, or warehouse environments.
- Inventory control or warehouse certification is a plus.
