Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Specialist to provide technical support and maintain daily IT operations within a professional business environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-related issues while supporting system security, documentation, and infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, and user accounts.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN access, email systems, software applications, firewall rules, and policy-related issues.
- Support IT infrastructure including LAN/Wi-Fi networks, servers, backup systems, antivirus management, and cloud-based platforms.
- Assist with configuration and support of Azure platform environments, domain control policies, and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking systems, and software license records.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including setup and removal of user access, accounts, and equipment.
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity practices, data protection measures, and user access controls.
- Provide support for Microsoft Office 365, shared drives, printers, conference room systems, video meetings, and business applications.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, logs, and system records in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk tickets and user support requests.
- Participate in system upgrades, validation activities, backups, and disaster recovery processes as needed.
- Follow company policies related to safety, confidentiality, data integrity, and IT security.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems support roles.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience supporting hardware devices, printers, network equipment, and basic server environments.
- Familiarity with IT security practices, antivirus systems, backups, firewall policies, and user access management.
- Understanding of Azure platform configuration, domain control policies, and ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate IT documentation and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting ERP, manufacturing, laboratory, or other business software systems.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices and cloud-based technologies.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and data integrity practices is a plus.
