Leading multi-billion-dollar global alternative investment manager and CLO Manager focused on structured credit and opportunistic investments. seeks a “Structured Credit Associate” with 2 to 5 years of experience in the CLO products and Bank debt space. The “Structured Credit Associate” will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with oversight of outsourced Middle Office and CLO Compliance provider
• Review monthly Compliance Test Results for approval and release of monthly CLO Reporting
• Responsible for CLO Distribution Reconciliation and Projection using Deal Spe cific Waterfall Models for Quarterly and Semi-Annual Distribution Reports
• Build compliance models to validate compliance results from external provider
• Assist with hypothetical trade review for potential CLO investment transactions
• Oversee daily Reconciliation of Positions and Cash to Trustee Records
• Ad Hoc Reporting and Inquiries from Trading Desk, Deal Analysts and Investor Relations Team
• Prepare quarterly updated marketing materials
EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role preferably acquired at a CLO Manager, trustee, accounting firm or service provider.
• Strong knowledge of bank debt and CLO products, CLO Reporting and CLO Compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience reporting to a trading desk and senior management preferred
• Familiarity with major Rating Agency conventions
• Strong decision-making ability and attention to detail
• Exceedingly flexible and able to prioritize in fast paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and exhibit high standards of professional excellence
• Positive attitude/energy with senior and junior peers
• Bachelor’s degree required
