Our hotel is hiring a part time Breakfast Cook. The Cookwill prepare food and makes sure Servers deliver each dish to customers ina timely manner. A Cook is responsible for that station's workflow and gettingmeals out on time. They oversee the cooking process from start to finish anddetermine how much time each step requires.
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
- Date all food containers and rotate per brand standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set-up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
- Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover and date all perishables.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen tools and equipment.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of related experience.
