We have an exciting opportunity to join our team asthe Executive Housekeeper.
The Executive Housekeeper manages the housekeeping and laundryservices of the hotel in a manner which will maintain high standards of serviceand hospitality consistent with the policies and procedures set forth by themanagement of the hotel. The Executive Housekeeper will plan, organize,motivate and control the housekeeping functions necessary to provide our guestswith top-quality, clean accommodations.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to provide cleardirection in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff indetails of work. Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performancereviews for housekeeping department.
Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with qualityassurance standards set by hotel, which requires continuous visual inspectionof guest rooms and public space areas including restaurants, lounges, meetingrooms, etc.
Manage finances of housekeeping and laundry operations including budget andinventory controls. Analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages,labor, supplies etc. in relation to hotel financial forecasts and budget.Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation ofdepartment.
Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guestsatisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor and materials.Monitor house count and make staffing adjustments accordingly.
Requirements
Prior housekeeping supervisory experience
Ability to lead and manage department
Ability to manage to brand standards
