Serves as the primary administrator for GConnect. Assists with Academic Success processes including general advising, exit advising, and academic progress. Serves as a first point of contact for Highbaugh Hall visitors and aids in the development of Highbaugh Hall initiatives. Supervises the peer educator program from hiring to completion of assignment. Assists with recruiting for Oxford Honors Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by
Academic Success and Student Life.
- Serves as primary administrator for GConnect/Starfish system, including process management, technological partnerships, updates, and responses.
o As part of the GConnect responsibilities, maintains a caseload of students to address academic concerns.
o Assists in the identification of at-risk students and complex academic concerns.
o Leads communication and marketing efforts across campus as it relates to use of the GConnect system and reporting of academic concerns.
Manages book resources, including the Lending Library and eCampus book scholarship, including database management, resource allocation, application process, marketing, and process flow in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Assists with Academic Success initiatives as appropriate, including: Providing frontline service for Highbaugh Hall (such as problem-solving, referrals, and wayfinding.
o Advising for walk-in appointments or specific outreach across all disciplines.
o Hosting exit interviews for students not intending to return and communicating with appropriate stakeholders
o Meeting with students regarding their academic progress and addressing concerns related to academic suspension, probation, or satisfactory academic progress.
o Aiding in curriculum development, marketing, and program development for specialized initiatives.
Serves on appropriate committees and teams as a member of the Academic Success and Student Life team, including the Care Team.
Partners with and supports the development of initiatives throughout Highbaugh Hall, in conjunction with Academic Success, Title IX/Disability Services, Calling & Career, Registrar, Financial Planning, and Student Accounts as needed.
Peer Educator Program
- Updates the job description and manage the hiring process for peer educators
- Manages placement of all peer educators with assigned faculty for GSC101
- Facilitates training for all peer educators and provide communication to the team prior to the start of their responsibilities
- Partners with NSO and GSC101 to navigate peer educator responsibilities
- Manages payroll process for all hires, including time management
- Provides the necessary support throughout the semester for the peer educators, including problem-solving, supervision, and coaching
- Assesses the program after each term and communicate feedback to appropriate parties
Oxford Honors Program
- Assists with recruiting.
