What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Litigation Attorney position at Genuine Search Group?
We are partnered with a national firm on a search for a Business Litigation Associate in their San Diego office. The firm is seeking attorneys with 3-8 years of defense-side business litigation experience in California state and federal courts, ideally gained at a mid-to-large size firm. The incoming associate will handle a diverse caseload spanning the following areas:
- Class Action Defense
- Real Estate Litigation (representing title insurers and real estate agents)
- Regulatory Compliance Defense
- Construction Litigation
- Employment Litigation
Essential Qualifications:
- CA Bar Admission is required.
- Strong experience managing all phases of litigation
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Expertise in handling all aspects of discovery, including drafting, revising, responding to, and objecting to discovery disputes.
- Excellent research, analytical, and brief writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected annual salary for this position is $180,000 – $250,000 commensurate with experience level, education, and relevant skills. If your salary expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Associates are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well.
