We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Clerk to support daily hospital operations by managing the distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and inventory throughout the facility. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in healthcare, central supply, warehouse operations, or inventory management who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment supporting patient care teams.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medical supplies and equipment to hospital departments as needed
• Provide direct operational support to all hospital units
• Inventory, replenish, and restock supply carts and stations accurately and on schedule
• Fill and deliver storeroom requisitions according to established timelines
• Issue supplies over the counter on an as-needed basis
• Process and distribute departmental special orders
• Accurately enter daily supply activity and inventory transactions into computer systems
• Apply credits and maintain accurate departmental or patient-related supply records
• Issue and track patient care equipment maintained by Distribution Services
• Demonstrate proper operation, utilization, and decontamination of patient care equipment using appropriate PPE
• Assist with assembly, utilization, and decontamination of orthopedic traction equipment

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn new software applications
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Central Supply, healthcare, medical distribution, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, move, and transport supplies/equipment as needed

Preferred Background

• Hospital or healthcare environment experience
• Inventory management or supply chain experience
• Familiarity with medical equipment handling and PPE procedures
