About the Role (Summary of project)
Gentis Solutions is seeking two Data Warehouse Input Managers to support a fast-paced supply chain/logistics environment. In this role, you will receive incoming requests from internal teams, process data updates, track shipments, and maintain accuracy across Smartsheet and Excel-based workflows.
This position requires high attention to detail, bias for action, and the ability to dive deep into shipment data and logistics operations. You will work alongside another team member in a highly collaborative, deadline-driven environment, managing 25–30 tickets per day.
What You’ll Do (Job Description):
- Enter, update, and manage data within Smartsheet, handling incoming requests efficiently and accurately.
- Track orders and shipment statuses; coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely updates.
- Use the web to search, verify, and retrieve required information for shipment workflows.
- Maintain and update internal systems with correct transportation and fulfillment details.
- Use Excel to sort, filter, and apply basic formulas to manage datasets.
- Work within supply chain workflows such as fulfillment, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Manage a workload of 25–30 tickets per day, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with internal customers and logistics partners to ensure accurate, timely information flow.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all data entry tasks.
What We’re Looking For (Must Haves):
- Strong experience using Smartsheet for data entry, updates, and task management.
- Experience with transportation or logistics coordination, especially shipment status updates.
- Hands-on proficiency with Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Ability to search and retrieve information using the web.
- 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong communication and task management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have Skills):
- Experience in fulfillment logistics or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with tracking systems, transportation portals, or inventory tools.
- Knowledge of basic supply chain terminology and workflows.
