Payroll Lead | Full-Time Onsite Opportunity
Location – Northwest suburbs of Chicago
We are currently partnering with a highly respected and established organization seeking a Payroll Lead to join their team in a full-time, onsite capacity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience processing high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment. The position will support payroll operations across multiple employee groups and will work closely with HR and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll
- Reviewing timekeeping records and resolving discrepancies
- Managing payroll updates including deductions, garnishments, and employee changes
- Assisting with payroll audits, reporting, and compliance-related activities
- Supporting employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Maintaining accurate payroll and employee records
