Electrical/Wiring Technician - 12723

Genesis Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Electrical/Panel Technician to work with our client in Montgomery, TX! This is a full time opening working M-F, 7:30a - 4:30p each day. Position is temp-to-hire, paying $18.00-$25.00/hr. depending on skills and prior experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and rework electronic and associated electrical systems
• Interpret logic diagrams, electronic and electric schematics
• Use electronic test equipment such as multimeters, pressure test pumps, etc.
• Capable of doing pneumatic panel repairs and revisions, hook-ups, running tubing, conduit installations, wire pulling and terminations
• Inspect and wire electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures and systems.
• Installing, bending, and removing conduit
• Researches and analyzes causes of failures. Repairs, replaces and installs new equipment/components and related hardware to maximize function ability.
• Prepares and updates various records, logs and reports related to the work being performed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of similar experience
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check
• Experience working in plants/refineries with instrumentation is a plus
• Knowledge of Analog and Digital I/O
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and calibration, flow meters, temperature and pressure transmitters, level controllers, analyzers, etc.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. regularly, climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time, etc.
