Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Control Panel Wireman to join our team in a clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility in Cypress, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial control panel wiring, electrical assembly, and troubleshooting, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels, enclosures, and junction boxes according to detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and component installation including terminal blocks, relays, contactors, PLCs, VFDs, power supplies, breakers, and I/O modules.
- Conduct continuity checks, voltage tests, and panel inspections to ensure compliance with UL 508A standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot wiring, labeling, and component issues using hand tools and test equipment (multimeter, etc.).
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to meet build schedules and maintain documentation accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area following 5S and OSHA safety practices.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in control panel wiring, industrial electrical assembly, or related field.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and panel layout drawings.
- Proficient with hand and power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, torque drivers, and multimeters.
- Familiarity with PLC control wiring, instrumentation, and low-voltage circuits (24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification in Industrial Electricity or Electrical Technology is a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
