Assistant Teacher
Gems of Jackson Child Care & Education Center is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our team.
Position Details:
- Part-time position
- Hours vary and may include weekends
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Assisting lead teachers with the implementation of lesson plans and daily activities
- Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Assisting with cleaning and classroom organization
- Helping with potty training and diaper changing
- Supervising and engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities
- Providing support with daily routines and other classroom responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
