Position: Bilingual IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Project Overview
The selected candidate will work closely with the current customer leadership team, and be responsible for driving the successful delivery of infrastructure-related initiatives.
This is not a traditional PM role focused only on schedule and budget management.
We are looking for a leader who can take ownership of overall project success, proactively manage stakeholders, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and effectively communicate with customer management.
Responsibilities
· Overall project leadership and execution
· Issue and risk management
· Customer and stakeholder management
· Executive-level reporting
· Escalation management and problem resolution
· Coordination between customer teams, NTT DATA teams, and Japan-based resources
· Driving project outcomes and ensuring successful delivery
Required Experience
· Proven IT Infrastructure Project Management experience
· Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
· Experience presenting and reporting to executive management
· Ability to lead projects in complex enterprise environments
Technical Background
Broad infrastructure knowledge and experience, including:
· Network
· Security / Firewall
· Cloud (Azure and/or AWS)
· On-Premises Infrastructure
· Operating Systems
· Middleware
· Data Center Infrastructure
Application development experience is not required.
Preferred Background
· Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese-style project governance
· Ability to operate effectively in a consensus-driven stakeholder environment
· Experience leading infrastructure transformation or large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects
Language Requirements
· Business-level English required
· Japanese language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
· Experience working within Japanese business environments is more important than Japanese language proficiency itself
Contract Information
· Duration: 1 to 2 years
· Target Start Date: November 2026 to January 2027
