Bridge Inspection (Diver) Engineer Team Lead

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working on bridge inspection projects in the Texas market. They will be eager to learn and gain bridge inspection and design experience from a highly specialized team of bridge engineers.
Responsibilities:

Serve as Inspection Diver/Team Leader on Underwater inspection projects (both bridges and waterfront structures) ability for some travel

Serve as Team Member on Routine Bridge Inspection and/or Fracture Critical Bridge Inspection projects with
-
Develop inspection reports
-
Apply structural engineering concepts to a wide range of bridge design and inspection projects

Produce load rating calculations
Requirements:
-
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
-
EIT Certification, P.E. Preferred
-
2 years of experience working on bridge inspection and/or bridge design projects
-
2 years of dive experience with commercial diver certification (ADCI)

Experience using structural analysis programs and bridge design software preferred (BrR, BrD, Conspan, RCPier, PG Super, Merlin, STAAD, RISA, etc.)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Positive attitude and commitment to quality work

Excellent work ethic

Live in, commute, or willing to relocate to Round Rock, Texas

Ability to travel

Successful completion of NHI course Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (desired, not required)

Successful completion of NHI course Underwater Bridge Inspection (desired, not required)
